Artful Wares is an independent buying-guide site about burr coffee grinders, both the electric kind on your counter and the hand-crank kind in your drawer.
We write for home coffee drinkers who want better cups without learning a new hobby. Our aim is simple: help you pick a grinder that suits the way you brew, then help you set it up well.
What we cover
Our guides cover burr grinders from brands like OXO, Baratza, Breville, Fellow, Capresso, Timemore, KINGrinder and 1Zpresso. We sort them by brew method, burr type, grind range, noise and budget.
We also explain the parts that trip people up. That means grind size for each brew method, static, cleaning, burr wear and why a grinder stops grinding.
How we work
We read the specs, the manuals and each maker's own information for every grinder we cover. We also look at what owners often report after months of daily use.

What we are not
